Overview

The Project Management template turns your vault into a lightweight project tracker. Each project gets a note with metadata and a task list; a central dashboard uses the Tasks and Dataview plugins to roll everything up so you always know what's due and what's blocked — without leaving Obsidian.

How to Install Project Management

1. 1Install the Tasks and Dataview community plugins.
2. 2Create a Projects/ folder and a Project Template.md with status/due fields.
3. 3Create a Dashboards/Projects Dashboard.md with a Tasks query for open items.
4. 4Optionally install Kanban for a drag-and-drop board of your projects.

How to Use Project Management

Create a new project note from the template for each initiative and add tasks with due dates using the Tasks emoji syntax.

Open the dashboard to see every open task grouped by project and sorted by due date. Review it weekly to reprioritize.
